Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the schools’ meal distribution program will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Friday, Nov. 27. 

To make up for the gap in distribution, kids will be given three days of meals on Tuesday, Nov. 24, similar to the Friday procedure. There will also be extra chips and snacks in the Tuesday meals.

Meals are available to all children under 18, regardless of whether or not they are students at Wareham Schools. Children do not need to be present when meals are picked up.

Meals are distributed at the following sites and times: 

Wareham Middle School front entrance: 09:30am to 10:30am                                   

Decas Elementary School cafeteria entrance: 10:30am to 12:00pm                   

Shangri La playground: 10:30am to 12:00pm                    

The Woods at Wareham apartment complex: 10:30am to 12:00pm                                                                

The Bandshell at Onset: 10:30am to 12:00pm         

The regular meal distribution schedule will resume on Monday, Nov. 30.
