Things to do: Prom dresses and an arctic plunge

Dress collection begins

The Wareham High School Key Club is conducting a prom dress collection to provide students dresses for this year’s prom season.
If anyone would like to make the prom season a little brighter for some young folks, drop the dresses off at the main office of Wareham High School Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
This collection will take place from Friday, Feb. 2 to Thursday, Feb. 15.

Redmen hold meat raffle
The Redmen Hall at 745 Main Street will hold its monthly meat raffle on Friday, Feb. 2.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. A chicken dinner meal will be served at 6:30 p.m., for an $8 cost.
The raffles will start at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 3

Students showcase art
Wareham Middle School art students will have their work on display at the Blue Foot Cafe, 379 Main Street, throughout the month of February. There will be a gallary show on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 10 to 11 a.m.

Sunday, Feb. 4

Take the plunge
On Sunday, Feb. 4, the friends and supporters of the National Marine Life Center will take the plunge at Onset Beach.
The plunge will take place at 11 a.m. at the Onset Bay Center, 186 Onset Avenue, Onset. Register or donate at http://ArcticSealPlunge.com

Monday, Feb. 5

New bus schedule begins
The Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority announced it will be offering Sunday Service across all of its fixed-route buses starting Monday, Feb. 5.
Updates will be made soon to the GATRA website and to printed schedules to reflect Sunday Service changes as well as other service changes effective Monday, Feb. 5. Visit www.gatra.org for more information and route-specific details.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

Laughter yoga
Doug Savage will hold classes in laughter yoga at the First Congregational Church of Wareham, 11 Gibbs Ave. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 and 28 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be no session Feb. 14 and 21.
