Thrift shop dollar sale
Next to New, a thrift shop located at First Congregational Church, UCC, 11 Gibbs Avenue, will host a February dollar sale, with all women’s, men’s and children’s clothing on sale for only one dollar.
The sale will run on Feb. 8 through 10, then again on Feb. 22 through 24. The store is open Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 9

Roast pork dinner
Trinity Christian Church, located at 462 Main Street, will be hosting a roast pork dinner Friday, Feb. 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. For more information or to RSVP, call or text Pastor Ginny at 508-264-1988.

Sunday, Feb. 11

Valentine’s brunch
The Degree of Pocahontas will host its Annual Valentine Brunch Sunday, Feb. 11, at the Redmen Hall, 745 Main Street. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 12

Lunch with the council
The Wareham Council on Aging will hold a Valentine’s Lunch on Monday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are on sale for $5 in the Council on Aging office through Friday, Feb. 2 or until sold out.
