Three Wareham Middle Schoolers head to state science fair

Wareham Middle School 6th graders Alex Lambert, 12, James Fitzgerald, 12, and Avery Gillman, 11, have all earned a place at the Massachusetts State Middle School Science & Engineering Fair, after placing in the Southeastern Massachusetts Regional Middle School Science & Engineering Fair, held at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.
Lambert's and Fitzgerald's project, called, "Crossing Streams: The Power of H2O", is a homemade hydroelectric generator.
Gillman's project, called, "The Future is Now", and is a Hoverboard that can transport his own body weight powered by a leaf blower.
The three will represent Wareham Middle School at the fair on June 6 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
