Dec 16, 2022

The Town of Wareham is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to our
team. Joshua Faherty has joined us as Conservation Agent and is now working in the Planning Office.

Mr. Faherty holds a degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Framingham State University and comes from his previous position as a Conservation Agent in the Town of Falmouth.
Joshua, his wife and daughter have called Wareham home for a few years now and really enjoy taking their two beagles on hikes in the many beautiful areas Wareham has been able to preserve and make available for everyone.

Planning Director Ken Buckland is pleased to have him on staff saying "He brings great knowledge of conservation and a desire to help people through the web of environmental regulations which at times may seem difficult and confusing. I invite people to stop in some time to get acquainted with Josh."

Mr. Faherty is looking forward to the job, "I have the utmost respect for the Conservation Commission, but I want everyone to be able to enjoy the natural features and beauty of Wareham. I want the decisions made by the Commission to highlight the best of Wareham in terms of the quality of development we see and the realistic goals we can achieve for conservation of natural resources."
