Town is hiring Election Day workers

The town is hiring Election Day workers for the upcoming May 4 Town Election.

Election Day workers must complete a CORI form and must be: 

• Registered to vote in Massachusetts
• Available to work on election day from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. or later, although half-day shifts may be available
• Able to attend mandatory training sessions
• Able to assist with duties including identifying eligible voters, assisting voters and assuring that state election laws are followed.

Candidates on the ballot are not eligible for these positions.

Election workers will be trained and may either volunteer or receive a stipend. Workers will be assigned to one of six polling locations, and may also be assigned to work during early voting.

Workers at this election will be kept on the list for future elections.
