Town to host outdoor permit sticker sale

Jun 8, 2020

Editor’s note: The sale has been cancelled for Sunday because the town has run out of beach stickers. A second sale will be planned next weekend.

The town of Wareham will be hosting an outdoor sticker sale weekend for residents to obtain Beach Parking Permits, Onset Street Parking Passes and Transfer Station Stickers from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 13 and 14.

The sale will be held in the parking lot at Town Hall at 54 Marion Rd.

To get permits, residents must bring their vehicle registration (and a copy of the lease, if the vehicle is leased), a picture ID with birthdate for those looking for the senior price, and proof of residency in Wareham, which could be a rental lease, tax bill, or utility bill.

Payments must be made by cash or check only. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Wareham.

Social distancing will be followed.

Beach Permits cost $15 for residents, $5 for senior residents, $50 for non-residents, or $50 for a resident guest placard.

Transfer station permits cost $40 for residents, $20 for seniors, and $10 for a second permit.

Those applying for Onset Street Parking Permits must live within the bounds of the Onset Parking Program Map, which is available at
