Wareham and Onset have an abundance of natural beauty, but the litter around town can mar that beauty.

In an effort to remedy the issue, the Wareham Conservation Commission is inviting residents to participate in a town-wide clean up on June 6, 7, and 8.

Gloves and trash bags may be picked up at the Conservation Commission office at Town Hall on Thursday, June 6, and Friday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Saturday, June 8, residents may obtain gloves and trash bags in the Town Hall parking lot from 8 a.m. to noon.

Larger items such as refrigerators, mattresses, washers and dryers, etc., will not be picked up during this cleanup.
