Apr 27, 2012

"Turtles gone wild," a digital media presentation about the turtles that inhabit the South Coast, will be coming to the Wareham Free Library on May 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The presentation will use lights, sound, and visual media to show the life cycle of turtles from hatchlings to grown ups and tell tales about the rescue of endangered turtles.

The program is open to all ages and is being led by "Turtle Journal" team Don Lewis and Sue Wieber Nourse.

Lewis, also known as “The Turtle Guy,” serves as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Districts.

Nourse is CEO of Cape Cod Consultants, an environmental solutions company specializing in wildlife management and critical habitat assessments that protect nature while helping clients reach their objectives.
