Upcoming Council on Aging events
Be your own best Valentine! On February 14 join the Council on Aging for an ice cream social with a special lunch at 11:30 a.m. The social will be held at the COA office, located at 48 Marion Road.
Come in earlier that day to hear Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz speak about how to protect yourself being scammed, offerings specific advice and tips for seniors. Mr. Cruz is scheduled to be there at 10:00 a.m.
The Council on Aging is also offering the following upcoming classes:
Drawing class will be offered by Kendra. The talented young lady brings years of experience to the COA.
Rob Slager, editor/publisher/reporter for The Wareham Observer will be leading a creative writing class at the COA.
The COA is again hosting a grief program sponsored by Beacon Hospice. Fridays, starting March 4, 2011 for eight weeks from 10-11:30 a.m. Pre-registration necessary to Beacon Hospice, Scott A. Ciosek, 508-747-7222. The course is free and all are welcome.
