Level 3 sex offenders Thomas Tavares, 57, and Christopher Wyatt, 38, have both turned themselves in to police stations, following warrants issued for their arrests, the Wareham Police Department said.

The department issued the warrants because the two men failed to register themselves as sex offenders in their towns of residence.

Tavares turned himself in at the New Bedford District Court while Wyatt turned himself in at a courthouse in Virginia, police said.
