Victor P. Barrows, age 91, of Onset passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. He was the husband of Geraldine L. Barrows. They were married for 68 years.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Joseph Barrows and Katherine Barrows/Fernandes and Benjamin Fernandes. 

A member of Laborer’s Local # 876 in Taunton, he worked most of his life in construction. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. 

Survivors include his wife Gerri of Onset; his daughters, Michele Barrows-Dorham and her husband Dana of Oakland, CA, Kelley Andrews of Wareham, and Toni Schopf of Middletown, RI; his siblings, Madeline “Maddie” Gonzales and her husband Dickie of Hawthorne, CA, Patricia Wendell and her husband Donald of Silver Springs, MD, Benjamin Fernandes of Carver, Ronnie Fernandes and his wife Jody Ulner of Marshfield, and Ruthanne Weinberg of Marshfield. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, the late Walter, Joseph and Phillip Barrows; his sister, the late Marie Guzman; his nephews, the late Billy Guzman, Kevin Fernandes and Jodi and Richie Barrows.
