Viella Frances Anderson, 74, peacefully passed away on the evening of January 31, 2022, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Almon and Dorothy Westgate, born in Wareham in 1948. 

Viella graduated from Wareham High School and was a very successful retail manager before she took an early retirement. She had a love for the beach, flowers, animals, her large family and coffee. 

Viella was survived by her husband, Michael Francis Anderson, 2 sisters, Brenda Messina and Wendy Westgate, her sister at heart, Mary Westgate, 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Buzzards Bay Eagles on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be food and music. Please bring your stories and memories to share. All are welcome!
