Virginia A. (Ieronimo) Bradbury, 94, of Middleboro, died February 23, 2022 at home surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Russell F. Bradbury. They were married for 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Papa) Ieronimo.
She was born on July 15, 1927 in Brockton and lived in Middleboro where she and her husband raised their 9 children. She attended Brockton High School.
Mrs. Bradbury worked at Campello Shoe Shank where she met her husband. She then worked at the Foxmoor Company until her retirement.
She enjoyed going out to eat, bowling in the league in Buzzards Bay, playing cards with her family and friends, spending time with her children and grandchildren and making her world famous spaghetti and meatballs to serve her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Diane Clark and Judith Perry of Carver, Donna Morris of Plymouth, Russell F. Bradbury, Jr. and his wife Marisa of Richmond, VA, MaryJane Driscoll of Wareham, William Bradbury of Carver, James Bradbury and his wife Jocelyn of Haslet, TX, Patricia Randazzo and her husband Joseph of Chicopee, Virginia L. Bradbury of Middleboro and Buddy Perry of Carver; a brother, Nicholas Ieronimo of Middleboro and a sister, Joanne Ieronimo of Brockton; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Michael Clark, granddaughter, Carissa Lynch, and her siblings, Joe Ieronimo, Mary Parsons, Camella Ibbitson and Lucy Pierce.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
Her funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, from the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Middleboro.
