The Wareham Athletic Association (WAA) has rescheduled their telethon for Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  The event will be broadcast by WCTV, but interested parties are welcome to stop by the Multi-Service Center to see musical acts perform and enjoy refreshments.

The WAA is a nearly 30-year-old, nonprofit organization that has donated around $750,000 to local community organizations, scholarships and other initiatives throughout its history.  The telethon hopes to raise money for a new community center on town-donated land.  The telethon was rescheduled so as not to coincide with the boys basketball final.
