All Wareham beaches are open and safe for swimming, according to a Wareham Board of Health notice released on Friday.

Forbes and Briarwood beaches had been closed by the Board of Health on August 2.

The Barnstable County Laboratory analyzed beach water samples on Thursday, August 8, and determined that they met bacterial standards and were acceptable for the operation of bathing water, according to the notice.
