A pile of trash appeared at the high-tension power lines near Rickey Land, and the Wareham Department of Natural Resources is on the case.

Officials are seeking the public’s help in locating who dumped the garbage, which includes old playground equipment, a 42-inch flat screen T.V. and lots of food wrappers from Cumberland Farms.

Officials are hopeful a handmade sign that reads in part “The Cape House Cast” will result in some tips.

“Someone out there definitely has to recognize the engraved words of ‘The Cape House Cast,’”according to a post on the department’s Facebook page. “Maybe this is your old swingset from a house you sold and the new owners decided to dispose of it illegally? Maybe you remember swinging into the sky on this as a kid?”
