Traffic stops ended with Wareham Police making three arrests on Wednesday, Jan. 23, two of which were for active warrants.

According to reports, a Wareham Police detective observed Brandon Pratt, 26, of East Wareham as a passenger in a car on Cranberry Highway near Water Wizz around noon.

Police said the detective was aware of an active arrest warrant for Pratt and attempted to pull the car over. The car in question then fled headed west on Route 25 with the detective in pursuit.

A nearby Massachusetts State Trooper heard radio calls from the detective and stopped the car near the Route 195 ramp.

Pratt was then arrested on the warrant and the operator of the car, Logan Orcutt, 26, of West Wareham, was arrested for failure to stop for a police officer. Both were taken to Wareham Police headquarters for processing.

Later that day, at about 3:45 p.m., Wareham Police detectives observed another driver, Cameron Cartier, 24, of no certain address, on Cranberry Highway.

Aware of the fact that Cartier had an active warrant out for his arrest, the detectives pulled his car over on Sandwich Road. Cartier was arrested and also charged with operating after suspension of his driver’s license.
