The Wareham Fire Department is hosting a food drive to benefit Turning Point from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Shaw’s Supermarket. 

Members of the department will be stationed outside to collect non-perishable goods, and mask and social distancing protocols will be followed. 

Items particularly needed are canned fish, meat, soups, vegetables, fruit and beans; macaroni and cheese; instant potatoes; gravy; pasta sauce; pasta; rice; peanut or almond butter; jelly; marshmallow fluff; cereal and cereal bars; pancake mix and syrup; granola bars; pretzels; animal or graham crackers; muffin mix; mix; dried fruit; apple sauce; fruit cups; full-size toiletries; and paper goods.
