Now in its 80th year, the Wareham Garden Club starts off a new season of programs on Thursday, Sept. 13, with "Ask the Experts.”

The program will offer pro tips on preparing horticultural displays for entry into flower show competitions. These same tips will be useful for anyone who wants to create an interesting arrangement for themselves. Yvonne Capella and Kathleen Coyle, longtime Wareham Garden Club members, and other guests with judging expertise will be on hand to offer their thoughts on how to see what a judge sees. All material will be provided at no charge.

The Wareham Garden Club meets on the second Thursday of each month starting at 9:30 a.m. with a short meeting, followed by a presentation and refreshments. Meetings generally end around noon and are held at St. Patrick's Hall, 82 High St.
