The Viking girls lost their first playoff game against Coyle-Cassidy Wednesday night, with a score of 56–34.

Coach Dave Brogioli said the girls "played hard, and tried our best, but had trouble scoring and got hurt on rebounds."

He said senior Tieyanna Yancey scored 14 points in the second half of the game, with Gabby Lefrancois netting more points for the team throughout the game.

Kali Fernandes had 8 steals, and Brianna Tavares had eight rebounds.

"The better team won, but this team left it all on the court," Brogioli said.
