Wareham High School class reunion on Aug. 20

Wareham High School’s Classes of the 1970s will gather for a reunion on Aug. 20 at the Redmen Hall and Pavilion, 758 Main St., West Wareham. The reunion includes Wareham High School classes graduating from 1970 to 1979 and faculty who taught during that decade.

The reunion will start with a cookout from 1 to 5 p.m. and continue with a dance featuring the music of the 1970s from 7 to 11 p.m. A cash bar will be available throughout the day. DJ Leslie Correia will provide music during both the cookout and dance.

Classmates are encouraged to dress in styles from the decade. Prizes will be awarded to the people whose outfits best represent the 1970s.

Tickets for the reunion cost $20. Classmates are advised to purchase tickets early as sales are limited to 200. Tickets may be purchased at Legacy Insurance, 213 Main St., Suite B, Wareham; Oak Grove Package Store, 47 Depot St., East Wareham and Attentive Home Care, 354 Front St., Marion.

Out-of-town classmates may purchase tickets by sending payment and a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Classes of the 70’s Reunion, P.O. Box 234, Marion, MA 02738.
