Wareham High School hosts third annual Arts Fair
Wareham High School will host its third annual Arts Fair On Thursday, April 7, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Arts Fair celebrates art in all five forms: visual, music, storytelling, drama and movement. This year, students are using the event to raise money for the earthquake relief efforts in Japan.
Student work will be displayed along with demonstrations by professional and student artists. Students, families, and community members alike may take part in creating 1,000 origami paper cranes.
WHS will be displaying the Teacher’s Discovery Traveling Exhibit, Art of Ancient Egypt during the fair.
The event will feature a bake sale, activities for children, and special performances throughout the evening. The Garden Club will be participating with container garden demonstrations and bird house sales. A henna artist will provide henna tattoos for a fee. All other events are free.
