The Wareham Land Trust will host a butterfly and insect walk on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Wareham Land Trust Douglas S. Westgate and Fearing Hill conservation areas.

The event is free and will be led by Plymouth County entomologist Blake Dinius and Wareham Land Trust advisory board member Lauren Griffith.

The walk will begin at the Westgate property at 10 a.m. with a short introduction to local butterflies and insects. From there, Dinius and Griffith will lead the walk through the Westgate and Fearing Hill trails. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the wooded walk.
