Wareham luxury apartment complex set to accept tenants in early October
A new 65-unit luxury apartment complex is nearly finished at Rosebrook Place in West Wareham, and new tenants are set to move in starting early October.
Cranberry grower and developer A.D. Makepeace Co. built the four-story building, which was designed to appeal to young professionals and empty nesters. Named 35 Rosebrook, apartment complex rents for one- and two-bedroom apartments range from $1,695 to $2,400 per month.
On Wednesday, real estate agents from Jack Conway, board members from A.D. Makepeace Co. and invited guests celebrated the opening of the apartment complexes’ sales office, located at 20 Rosebrook Way, adjacent to 35 Rosebrook. Jack Conway and Co. Realtors are the exclusive leasing agent for the complex. In the sales office, a model one-bedroom apartment is available for viewing and prospective tenants may sign leases.
The complex is part of several other fairly new developments built by A.D. Makepeace Co. in that area, starting in 2010 when 100 Rosebrook, medical offices operated by Southcoast Health, was announced. Town and A.D. Makepeace Co. officials have touted the area as Wareham’s gateway through the years, saying the myriad of developments, which include the TownPlace Suites by Marriott hotel, will attract people and additonal development.
Wareham’s Director of Planning & Community Development Ken Buckland said he expected the apartments would be a successful addition to the area due to the location.
“We have great access to I-195 and I-495 at this end of town,” said Buckland. “Accessibility is key. It’s why Walmart moved nearby and why Wareham Crossing was built down the road. This is a great project to have in town and I can’t wait to see the finished the product.”
