Wareham man arrested for marijuana deal

A Wareham man was arrested for allegedly buying marijuana outside a Manomet supermarket last Thursday afternoon, according to Plymouth police.

Capt. John Rogers said two narcotics detectives saw Daniel Parsons, 24, of 9 Santos Drive in Wareham, and Thomas Cipriano, 21, of 5 Jocelyn Ave. in Plymouth, engaged in a drug deal shortly after 2 p.m. Both men were found to have marijuana on them and detectives also found packaging materials and a drug scale.

Cipriano was charged with possession of marijuana over one ounce, possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.

Parsons was charged with possession of marijuana under one ounce, and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws. He was arraigned on July 31, with a continuation to Sept. 15 for pretrial
