A Wareham man was arrested on Thursday, July 11, after allegedly robbing two teenagers at gunpoint.

Toure Perry, 31, was charged with armed robbery, after youths flagged down police after the alleged robbery, according to Wareham Police.

The victims gave police a description of the suspect, who had fled on foot. This, along with information provided by detectives, led police to pull over a vehicle in the parking lot of Sullivan's Liquors, police said.

The passenger in the car matched the description given to police and "items of evidentiary value were recovered in the immediate area of the incident, as well as in the area traveled by the suspect while running from the initial scene," according to Wareham Police.

The weapon has not been recovered.

Perry was arraigned in Wareham District Court on Friday, July 12, and is being held at the Plymouth County House of Corrections in lieu of $15,000 cash bail and $150,000 surety.

Perry is due back in court August 1 for a pre-trial hearing.

According to a Wareham District Court clerk, Perry's bail from a pending case was revoked due to the arrest, so even if he's able to post the $15,000 cash bail, he won't be released.
