Wareham Middle School inducts new Honors Society members
The Wareham Middle School Honors Society saw 17 new members inducted Wednesday night at the middle school’s auditorium.
In order to join the Honors Society, prospective members must have and maintain a 4.0 grade point average for two consecutive trimesters, as well as submit an essay to the council. Faculty members also rate the students on areas of leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
Current Honors Society members swore in the new members, and read personal facts about each one, such as an inductee’s favorite television show. The new members inducted are in sixth and seventh grade.
The sixth grade students inducted are as follows:
Grace Brogioli, Brooke Chandler, Jordan DeMedeiros, Adreanna Dillen, Zachary Geis, Alex Lambert, Thomas Pelletier, Samantha Scully, Emily Roberge, and Sydney Uhlman.
In the seventh grade, the students inducted are as follows:
Jasmine Black, Amanda DaCruz, Mollie Johnson, Jorie Kyle, Julianne Matthews, Joseph Silva III, and Caitlyn Wood.
