A 28-year-old Onset man was arrested on Thursday, December 8, after Wareham Police executed a search warrant at his home and found marijuana, cash, and drug paraphernalia

Christopher Turner, of 298 Onset Ave., was arrested around 5:30 p.m. Thursday after detectives and patrol officers arrived at the home following an investigation into the possession and sale of illegal drugs, according to a Wareham Police statement.

Police said Turner was in possession of cash and a small amount of marijuana at the time of his arrest.A further search of the home revealed 6 ounces of marijuana, more cash, and drug paraphernalia, including a scale and plastic baggies commonly used in the distribution of drugs, according to police.

Turner was charged with possession of a “Class D” substance with intent to distribute. He was scheduled to be arraigned on December 9 at Wareham District Court.
