The Wareham Police Department will implement a parking ban starting 12 a.m. Feb. 5.

The police said the ban is in anticipation of a snowstorm. The National Weather Service reports the snow will start around 9 a.m. Feb. 5, with winds between 13 and 20 miles per hour, with gusts up to 40 miles per hour.

The service reports there will be between three and five inches of snow in the area.
