Wareham Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect in a hit-and-run that happened on Jan. 1.

Police said a silver sport utility vehicle was seen heading toward Bourne after striking a 34-year-old Plymouth woman crossing the road in front of the Krua Thai II restaurant in at 3034 Cranberry Highway at approximately 5:45 p.m.   

The woman was seriously injured and taken to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center, police said.
