Wareham Public Schools seeks input from public on new five-year strategic plan

Wareham Public Schools is asking for input from the public as the district begins to create its new five-year strategic plan.

“We would greatly appreciate all WPS staff, Town Officials, Police, Fire, & Business Owners to reply to assist as we devise a five-year Strategic Plan that is relevant to all stakeholders in our schools and in the community,” the district wrote in a press release.

The meetings will be held via Zoom each month, beginning in mid-February and ending in May. The goal is to have an initial plan ready for the School Committee’s approval and vote at the final School Committee meeting in June 2021.

Copy and paste the following message into the email to get started: 

“Dear Dr. Schwamb or Andrea (whichever you prefer):

I (your name) am interested in participating in developing the new Strategic Plan, WPS 2026. The group I am most interested in working on is...” 

The available groups are seen in the image included above. Individuals may volunteer for more than one group and will be assigned as needed to provide diverse, inclusive perspectives.
