Selectman Judith Whiteside asked Selectmen to "pledge to support peace" together at Tuesday's Selectmen meeting and the group joined hands and said "peace" in unision.

"I don't believe what's going on in this world is in any way nice," Whiteside said.

In light of Thanksgiving, Whiteside said she is thankful for the Selectmen who work with her.

"You may not like us, you may not always agree with us, but I think you'll all agree that we've done the best that we can," she said.
