The advocacy group has held three protests against ICE since Jan. 10 following the killing of 37-year-old Renee Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.
Group organizer Manfred Wiegandt said this protest was done in a show of support for the “economic blackout”, where Minnesota businesses are closing for the day to protest ICE in Minneapolis.
The hour-long stand-out held Friday, Jan. 23 had 72 people outside of Town Hall with signs calling for the end of ICE activity in Minnesota.
“We see that more and more people are aggravated and mad about this,” Wiegandt said. “Even today shows that people are getting more and more upset about this.”
No counter protestors were present during the event.
