Here’s what’s happening around Wareham this weekend.

Gardens Ashore tour

The Garden Club will hold its biggest fundraiser of the year, “Gardens Ashore - A Coastal Garden Tour of Wareham and Onset,” on Friday, June 29, and Saturday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants will tour six gardens in Onset and the Great Neck region of Wareham. Some expansive gardens are at water’s edge and some, referred to as “pocket gardens,” are tucked away in eclectic settings.

Advance tickets to the tour are available for $18 at Sail Away Boutique and The Old Company Store in Wareham; Edens Florist and Garden Shop in Marion; or Gotta Have It in Fairhaven.

Tickets on the day of the tour can be purchased for $22 at Buzzards Play Productions, located at 3065 Cranberry Highway in East Wareham.

For additional ticket information, contact Sandy Slavin at 508-291-1643 or asslavin@aim.com.

Platinum Car and Bike Night

Bristol County Ruff Ryders host the Platinum Car and Bike Night at Walmart in East Wareham every Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This week is the first week, as last week's event was canceled due to an impending storm.

Last year, the event averaged 10 to 15 cars on display per week and close to 50 bikes.

"This year should be bigger," said organizer Shannon Sylvia. "It's something positive to do."

The event takes place in the parking lot near the Walmart's garden center. Activities will include a weekly 50/50 raffle with proceeds benefiting the Children's Miracle Network, music from DJ Dre, and food vendors.

Admission is free.
