Water main break closes Camp Street

With water trickling onto Onset Avenue, Camp Street is closed following a water main break.
Residents in the surrounding area could see interruptions in service and discolored water as crews from Onset and Wareham Water Departments are on scene. The road will be shuttered until further notice to access the damage.
Operations Supervisor for Wareham Water Department, Shane Lydon, was assisting Onset and said breaks occur as water mains age. While crews worked to expose the water main and find the break, the estimated time of repair is unknown.
"Until you get down to it [water main] you don't really know," Lydon said.
