WCTV is back with their marquee live event that features an array of local entertainment and raises money for local non-profits.

WCTV LIVE Auction and Entertainment – Take 5 is hosted by the Wareham-New Bedford Lodge of Elks #73.  The live broadcast is Saturday, May 17 from 4 p.m. to midnight. Proceeds will go to The Saints and Singers Chorus and the Riverside Church, their non-profit partners for the event.

Given last year's positive viewer response, the format remains the same--there will be several 15-minute auction sets with five minutes of entertainment in between.  WCTV will only accept phone bids on the night of the event. The bid number is (508) 322-4230.

WCTV is looking for members to help produce the broadcast on May 17. Interested volunteers, please contact Warren as soon as possible by calling (508) 273-2340 ext. 4, and mention your time availability.

Event partners are currently seeking items for auction sets, new products, services, art, hand crafted items, gift certificates and antiques, as well as on-air sponsors. Donors receive on-air and website acknowledgement commensurate to item/sponsor value.

The event is not open to the public, but only to WCTV volunteers, non-profit partners, entertainment and Elk members only. Viewers can watch on Verizon channel 30, Comcast channel 9 or at www.warehamtv.org.

Scott and Hannah Record will be the event's emcees, which will feature a line up of local talent.
