William H. Perry, 85
William H. Perry, 85, of Sandwich, formerly of Brewster and Canton, CT, died on September 13, at Cape Regency Nursing and Rehab in Centerville. He was the loving husband of the late Clare Hogan for over 50 years.
Bill was born in Boston in 1928 the son of the late Francis and Mary Alice (Ray) Perry.
After graduating from BC High School, William worked for Teledyne Firth Sterling in West Hartford, CT for 30 years where he was District Manager. After retiring in 1986 he started his own business Perry and Perry Inc. where he continued to work until 2006.
William enjoyed golfing, sailing, coin collecting, and gardening. He loved the beach and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
William is survived by his two sons: Mark Perry of Sandwich, and Brian Perry of the Dominican Republic, his brother Francis J. Perry, Jr. of Westwood, and his sister Jane Perry of Needham. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren William Perry, Caroline Perry, and Madison Perry. William was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Louise Gallant, and Ann Curley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham on Monday, September 23. Interment will be private. For directions and online guestbook, visit: www.ccgfuneralhome.com.
