The Wareham Vikings boys and girls winter track teams finished out their regular season on Monday at Dighton-Rehoboth.  Although both the boys and girls came up short in the final tally, many athletes had great individual performances.

The boys team lost by a score of 54-32 but were well represented with three wins and multiple second- and third-place finishes.  Steve Harrison won the 50-yard hurdles with a time of 7.5 seconds.  Harrison was followed by second-place finisher Evan Moretti who posted a time of 8.2 seconds.  Matt Pimental won the 50-yard dash with a time of 5.9 seconds. Eric Turner had a personal-best high jump of 5 feet 5 inches and, to finish the meet, the 4x400 relay team of Matt Pimental, Tyler Pina, Jimmy Zine and Ryan Sanderson won with a time of 4:03.4.

The girls team lost by a score of 65-21, but two members won their individual events.  MaryGrace Brogioli won the 50-yard hurdles with a time of 8.0 seconds, and Marley Harunk won the 300-meter run with a time of 45.3 seconds, her fastest time of the season in this event.
