Woman arrested for possession of illegal drugs and ammunition

A Wareham woman was charged with possession of crack cocaine after police executed a search warrant at her Woods of Wareham apartment last Thursday.

Police said Cindy Logan, 55, was found in possession of two grams of crack cocaine and $482 cash following a search for illegal drugs at her apartment on April 30.

Police said they found digital scales in the apartment living room, along with several plastic baggies with the corners cut, indicating the distribution of illegal drugs.

Pills identified as Buprenorphine were found inside Logan’s purse, and plastic baggies with suspected cocaine residue were found in her bedroom, police said. In addition to the drugs, a box of ammunition was found in the apartment, according to police.

Police said Logan has been charged with possession of class B substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class B substance (Buprenorphine), and possession of ammunition without an FID card.

She was arraigned on the charges at Wareham District Court on Friday, May 1, police said.
