Woman rescued from water at Onset Beach
Two teenage boys rescued a Brockton woman from the water at Onset Beach on Sunday afternoon, according to the Wareham Police Department.
Police said the two boys from Lakeville had noticed the 58-year-old woman floating in the swimming area, and, after finding her unresponsive, had yelled to their father on shore, before bringing her to land. Timothy Dulkie, 42, of Taunton performed CPR, with the help of Rodney Johnson, 71, of Brockton.
Emergency personnel responded to the call made at 1:13 p.m., and took over care of the woman at the scene. The woman was transported to Tobey Hospital, where police report she has made a full recovery, and was released from care Thursday.
Police said it is still unknown as to why the woman was unresponsive in the water at the time.
