Womenade of Wareham's  Tea for a Cause fundraiser

On Sunday, May 1 the Old Company Store will host a tea party to raise money for Womenade of Wareham. Attendees of the Tea for a Cause event will be treated to a variety of teas and treats from Old Company Store resident chef, Kurt von Kahle.

Linda Marini from the Republic of Tea will be on hand to discuss the history and benefits of tea. The first 50 guests of the party will take home a teacup as a token of appreciation for supporting the charity.

The fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Company Store. Tickets cost $20 and may be bought at the door. Womenade of Wareham is a non-profit group that has the flexibility to help people in ways other charities cannot. From helping residents purchase expensive prescriptions to paying user fees for high school athletes, the organization works to fills the gaps that other charities can’t reach.
