YMCA to host Food and Wine Tasting on Oct. 17
The Gleason Family YMCA will host their annual Food and Wine Tasting benefit on Friday, October 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall, 164 Front St. Marion.
The night will include food and libations with dishes prepared by local caterers and restaurants that generously donate to this annual fundraising event for the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham.
A variety of wines will be offered for sampling, including reds, whites, blushes and sparkling varietals. Several beer options will also be available for your sampling pleasure.
There will also be a silent auction table with many different types of donated goods and items from local stores, restaurants and businesses.
This year will also include a 50/50 raffle for attendees participation.
This annual event has been an important fundraiser for the Gleason Family YMCA for 10 years. Proceeds from the event are used to provide financial aid to families and individuals who could otherwise not afford membership or programs.
Tickets to the event are $50 per person and are available for purchase at the Gleason Family YMCA front desk or online at ymcasouthcoast.org. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $55 the night of the event.
