Zara "Rosie" Arocho, 86, of Wareham, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 29, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Guadalupe Rosario.

Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Wareham 40 years ago.

Rosie was formerly employed by the Aerovox Corporation and had also worked as a seasonal cranberry worker.

She loved to cook for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe; her stepchildren, Wayne Rosario and Yuolanda Rosario-Hampton; her grandchildren, Barbara Perez, Zara Perez, Jarrod Rosario, and Tara Rosario; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was the mother of the late Eligio Abraham Perez and Orlando Perez.
