‘Spring into bloom’: Wareham Garden Club to hold plant sale

WAREHAM — Spring has sprung — which means gardening season has begun.
Get a head start on the season with the Wareham Garden Club’s annual spring sale which will be held on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Methodist Meeting House, 495 Main Street.
There will be perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetable plants, houseplants, dish gardens, hanging baskets, garden tools, garden decor and a chance auction. Garden Club cookbooks, a bake table and crafts will also be available.

The proceeds from Wareham Garden Club fundraisers like this one are used to fund its scholarship program awarded annually to qualified high school and college students, ongoing community beautification projects, monthly garden therapy program at the Council on Aging, and educational and horticultural programs.
