Florence R. (Ragina) Steemson, 88, died May 24, at Royal Cape Cod Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Buzzards Bay. She was the wife of the late Harry J. Steemson.

Born in Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Edward & Adele Ragina. A previous resident of Auburn and Worcester, she moved to Wareham in 1952. Mrs. Steemson was employed as presser for Town and Country Cleaners in Wareham.

She is survived by her son, Robert Steemson of Sandwich; three daughters, Kathleen Baptiste of Buzzards Bay, Patricia Chase of Laconia, NH, and Karen Oates of Wareham; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
