Beverly E. (Crawshaw) Browne, 86, died Tuesday, Dec. 31 at the Golden Living Center in Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Donald F. Browne.

Born in Bridgewater, she graduated from East Bridgewater High School. Browne was a previous resident of Whitman and New Jersey before moving to Plymouth 30 years ago. She was the owner of Browne’s Package Store in Wareham and Plympton. She retired in 2007.

Browne enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Anderson of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson and Lisa Powell both of Plymouth and Stacey Anderson of Waltham; her great grandchildren, Perry Anderson and Gavin Powell and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, the late Steven E. Browne.

Her funeral service will be held on Mon., Jan. 6 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at noon. Interment will follow in the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
