ONSET – Robert Arnold Bergstrom, 67, of Onset, died Sunday, March 9, at home. He was the husband of Patricia (Davin) Bergstrom and the son of the late Arnold John and Marion (Fozzy) Bergstrom.

He was born in Brockton and has lived in Wareham and Onset since 1977. Previously he lived in Framingham and has a home in Sun City Center, FL.

He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee.

Bergstrom graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology and worked as an estimator/executive for Marshall Contractors in Rumford, RI for many years.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church where he served on the Finance Committee, Diaconate, and Trustees.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Davin) Bergstrom; two sons, Derek Bergstrom of Rochester, NY and Jeffrey Bergstrom and his wife, Alison Feldmann of Brooklyn; two sisters, Carol St. Laurent of Paxton and Patricia Smart of Warwick, RI.

His funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, in the First Congregational Church, 11 Gibbs Ave., Wareham. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
