A Helping Paw Humane Society of East Wareham is offering a "Fix 'N Felines" program that give low-cost spay/neuter certificates to pet owners in need.

According to A Helping Paw, this is the time of year when too many kittens are born, and often times, there aren't enough homes available for them. They say veterinarians suggest having both females and males altered starting at four months of age.
