Commemorative edition of Wareham Week
To help Wareham celebrate its history during this Summer of Celebration, Wareham Week has published a special commemorative edition.
On newsstands now, the special edition was produced in conjunction with -- and with all advertising proceeds to benefit -- the Summer of Celebration organization.
The free special edition contains a calendar of Summer of Celebration events and stories about Wareham's history, written as if the town's incorporation of 275 years ago and the British invasion of 200 years ago were being covered in "real time."
With militiamen, the Summer of Celebration logo, and blue where the weekly Wareham Week has orange on Page 1, the special edition should be easily distinguished from our weekly paper.
Copies are currently available at Shaw's, Stop & Shop, and Onset Village Market. They will soon be available at many of the other 200 Wareham Week delivery spots and at Summer of Celebration events.
We will make the special edition continuously available throughout the summer until the supply of 15,000 copies printed runs out.
Enjoy!
